For my lamp I experimented with contours and sections in order to get my basic shapes and then I did some trimming and extrude all of my curves into surfaces. I used the helix tool for the spiral light bulb. For my renderings I chose a clear plastic and changed the tint of the upright sections to a dark grey. I did this because I plan to use acrylic for my lamp material. I chose to call this design the basket lamp because I felt that the initial shape that I used resembled a basket.
