Shannon Donnelly: Week 2: Flashlight

For my flashlight design, I wanted to create a simple and modern design. I chose to keep basic shapes and add details by repeating objects. I didn't want too many details so I could stay in the parameters and not make the object too complex.
I used boolean difference to make cutouts.  I used the fillet to smooth edges and unify the form of the flashlight. I used the arraypolar tool to repeat objects at accurate intervals to keep the flashlight symmetric.
For my rendering, I used an aluminum shell to keep the design futuristic. I accented it with stainless steel piping and a blue metal to bring out the details. I chose to keep the flashlight in metals to show off the illumination and reflections of the light.
