             For my design I was inspired to make the mouse multi use and capable of performing multiple tasks.  I decided to include a pen into the mouse because it is commonly used by graphic artists and having the ability to use a pen while still using the mouse would be very useful for a lot of people.
              For my process I started with the outline of the curve in the right view.  I extruded this curve and then cut out the section for the middle.  I used blend surface to create the curves on each side and I also used the loft command to cover the gaps I had after removing the center piece.
             The materials I chose were hard black plastic and a polished steel surface.  I did this because this mouse would have various touch sensors located throughout so accessing commands and navigating would be easier.  This mouse would also be able to assign hot keys to allow whatever command you would like.
