My inspiration for the design came from a pair of Oakley glasses that i found while doing my research at the beginning of the project. The glasses are a bit square-like and it has got a simple and classical design.
I used my orthographical pictures to create curves that i could use as starting points for my model. I started with the front view and got the curves and then i created a curve in the top view that I used crv2view with the model curves to get them more bent. I extruded the surfaces and got the basic shapes of my glasses. I created the rest of the model using extruded curves and i finished of by filleting the edged of the model.
I chose to have a black plastic frame and tinted glass on my main model to keep it simplistic. I tried out with different colors and decided that the multiple color set looked really cool.
