The intent of my design is based on a combination of ideas from different companies. I liked the way that RayBans fit my face and I liked the style of a lot of the new Toms sunglasses so I decided to used the exact dimensions of my RayBans and combine them with a sleek new design inspired by some Toms sunglasses. I also like the circular lens look and thought it would compliment the design nicely along with some other retro features. For example the wire half circle ear pieces are inspired by some older RayBan glasses.

The commands I used were mainly curve and extrude for most parts. I utilized what we learned in class with the crv2view command and was able to accomplish curving the front part of my sunglasses. I also used booleandifference, extrude, filletedge, pipe, sphere, split, and blend. I was able to fix some naked edges using the join edges tool as well.

The materials I used were mainly grouped into three different parts. Although I changed some colors in some of the renderings, I stuck to the materials. For the lenses I used glass. For the bodies and the nose rests, I mainly stuck to a clear plastic, but for the eyeglasses on the far left on one rendering I used an aluminum. For the wires, hinges, and screws, I stuck to metals that included copper, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel.
