Peyman Pirzadeh - Week 2 - Flashlight Project

Black Ghosted Image

For the second project we were supposed to model a Flash light. Since it should be constructed under specific dimensions I couldn't play with design a lot. There's no concept really. I just tried to have it look professional and technical.
There are many different techniques I used to model it. I used Revolve to rotate the curve shaped I made to build up the main body which is presented black in the above images. I used Project to apply my wanted pattern to the main body surface and then Pipe to make the curve a torus then finally BooleanDifference to cut the shape out of the model's body.
The materials I used are not many. Black hard rough plastic is applied to the main body, Gray soft touch is used for the torus at the bottom and spheres at the top and Area 100W light for the inside lights.

  1. Excellent work. Beautiful presentation. Now have a little fun exploring materials and playing with lighting.
