The Tai Kaku is a radial design based on a pentagonal shape. The majority of the sections were created vertically to create an interesting design when viewing the object from below. The command I found the most useful was also the most frustrating. The blockinstances command worked well to control all of the pipes but was bothersome when trying to separate the two halves. Luckily the explode command worked well to fix this problem.
My design has pulls inspiration from lattice patterns as well as traditional japanese architecture. I used this inspiration to create my object name, Tai Kaku, meaning matrix in japanese.
