Intended to sit on a shelf, the Lucid Curtain is simple in design and easy to assemble. For the name, I was inspired by The Iron Curtain (Berlin Wall). Although the light was not brought about by a world war, It was built in Rhino using spectacular commands such as polyline, pointcurve, revolve, extrude surface and a few others. The color I chose for the wood surface was black to show the stark difference between a light and a dark. As for the lighting, I thought my boards deserved a softer gray tone while the detail and frontal view needed a darker more dramatic feel.
