Ximena Quiros: Bubble chair Week 8

The bubble chair has a wire cage that I made by creating sections of a sphere, this sphere is not perfect, it is a little bit flatten, it is like this because it looks a lot more interesting than a actual sphere.  The cushion is made by a cylindrical shape in which I made a big fillet the top and a small one at the bottom.  I wanted to make a fun and simple design.  I took advantage of the transparency that the pipes made and I did the cushion all the way through the sphere.

The materials that I used are white plastic and nylon fabric.  I used white plastic for the wires and blue/aqua nylon fabric for the actual seat.  I chose this colors because this chair is a very simple yet complex design and I wanted to express a not so serious side of the chair and I made that by choosing these colors.
