The Kashoeal (Kah-shoe-ul) is a pretty simplistic shoe design I created this week. I went about designing this shoe using the basic shoe forming methods described in the tutorial, and went off on my own to add some details, such as the tongue, rivets, and shoelace. The tongue and the shoelaces both presented a unique challenge, but I think I handled them quite well. The tongue is a polysurface that I created using curves, then bent using the Bend command in order to make it conform to the shape of the inside of the shoe. The shoelace I literally had to lace through each of the rivets using the curve tool, then piping. The textures I use were very subtle ones in order to stick to the casual vibe the shoe is giving off.
