Brian Kuo Week 4 USB Connector

For this model, I wanted to give a more personal touch to something generic that most people see regularly.

In this project, I used offsets to create both the body ridges and the USB head itself. I also ended up using a loft instead of a sweep 2 recommended in the  tutorial to make the ridges of the body.

Wanting to make something so mundane more personal and interesting made me wonder what materials to use. Therefore, I choose a somewhat hidden but still noticeable wood for the body. For the head, I used aluminum for the covering and standard plastic on the inside.
