Sean Carl, Week 7 Ring

For my ring project I wanted to create something with a superhero type vibe. This is a kind of ring Captain Planet or The Power Rangers would wear. I put a central logo on both sides on each face.

I found out the standard ring size and made that the inner diameter. I boolean differenced a tube for the indent. The side cuts were made from an extruded cut curve. The logo and side decals were simple extruded patterns which were extruded and capped. I booleaned a box through the cented and used a large fillet for those rounded inset shapes.

My ring body is made of a reflective green chrome paint. The circle and side decals were attributed with white and gray matte plastic respectively. I wanted to make a simple ring with a couple interesting focal points.
