Final Rendering
For the ring design I had first taken a different approach. I first started doing a man thumb ring, but while doing the process I started to play around with Rhino that I came about to change my design to a women's ring. One of my strongest influence while doing the project comes from my grandmother, who always love rings. This is why its call Victoria so, therefore is dedicated to her.
My rendering and rhino techniques include from using lines and helix by then transforming them into surfaces by the pipe command. For the Emerald, it was done by truncated cone, and the spheres are by the use of arraypolar on surface. Now, as for my renderings I had an opportunity to play around with passes although I was not successful. My last rendering interprets my attend by combining environments.
Finally, most of the materials that I choose included gold, silver, and Emerald. I choose Emerald, to represent my home country, Colombia since is one of the top produces in the world for this gem. Now, gold and silver embroil the entire ring to its perfect beauty. More over, the curves and unions interpret movement and balance throughout the entire design.
