Chia Yu Lu: Week 5 Sunglasses

With this sunglasses project I got my inspiration from other rimless glasses, so the lenses was only hold by the bridge and end pieces. I wears glasses and I know that it is very uncomfortable to wear them for long time not to mention if the eye glasses is heavy.

I started with curve lines, and I pull them to the position that I wanted to be and sweep2 it to create my first lance.  I used sphere to make the end pieces, I shape it and then I use split to cut out the joining part. Then comes to the most challenging part temples, I have to make two lines and create round surfaces in both ends so I could sweep2 it again.

With rendering I uses Aluminum polished for the bridge and end pieces. For temples I uses Carbon fiber basic to give it an extra texture. With earpiece I uses Silk black to make it look comfortable.
