Jace McDill Week 5: Tourister Sunglasses
This project was interesting because i had to create a model from another persons drawings. The design was interesting and sketches were good so i was able to create a model that i was happy with. Andra Wibisono was the designer of this pair of this sunglasses and i believe i was able to accurately portray his design concept.
This process was interesing beause it was my first model using so many complex curves. The Crv2view command was very helpful. All of the shapes were created using the curve, and extrudecrv tool. Boolean2obejects and project were integral in the creation of details. I used the filletedge command to create smooth corners in order to make the rendering more realistic.
I incorporated classic colors and materials in an attempt to stay with the stylish design and the intended tourist customer. Therefore i had to create a color scheme that would be accepted anywhere. The Main color was a metallic paint the was entitled "Cappuccino", and i used polish aluminum to complete the classic look. I went with the timeless clear gray lens because it also flowed well with the color scheme.
