I was really just looking to design the basic USB from the tutorial. I was feeling a little lost on the last project. Following this tutorial definitely got my back into the swing of things.
The techniques used to create this USB were mainly Offset and Trimming. I also used a multitude of joining methods such as Loft and BlendSrf. As well as a lot of Professor Scott beloved FilletEdge command.
The material choices were mostly metals for the body as well as the tip of the USB. Gold tips are known to be more conductive and make for a better connection. So I used that in the tip and carried it through to the frame to create the illusion of continuity.
