John Sibert Week 5: USB Drive

My intention for the USB project was to attempt to follow the tutorial provided in order to get a better sense of a proper work flow in rhino, and it did help me with thinking about the building process that goes into modeling complex objects using images.

The actual modeling process involved the use of a lot of curves, which was very helpful in furthering my understanding of when to use curves to preform shaping. I mainly used trim commands, curves, and filleted edges.

For my materials, I wanted to render a realistic looking drive so I used aluminum with some texture for the actual drive port, and gold for the connections, with a black plastic housing. For the body I used a clear blue plastic because I thought it looked very nice.
