Kristin Leverette

My inspiration and influence for the mouse project was the NBA team the Los Angeles Lakers. The design on the mouse represents the two teams the ball and the court. I also included the Los Angeles, Lakers organization colors to give the mouse more representation.

My modeling techniques for this mouse were the line plan that was provided with the project, I used the command sweep 2 to add the body of the mouse and for the buttons located on the top of the mouse I used the line command with pipe. For the cradle injection I created a sphere and used the Boolean union to create the mouse button.

I kept my material choices very simple, I used black rubber for the mouse  and the buttons are yellow paint. Since my mouse has dark colors I chose to readjust the lighting in key shot to avoid  overbearing dark shadows. I purposely made he background is a lighter grey so the image could sit within the right lighting and too much background would have caused the design to look dull.
