Sean Carl: Week 4 USB

This Design is more upbeat and flashier than my previous designs. I was going for a flashy product someone could adorn their initials into. Flashdrives are usually thought of as technical and practical, so design is usually lost on it.

Most of the added components to the flash drive tutorials were extruded curves that were later filleted for a rounder edge. I arrayed cylinders along a curve to add notches in the grips, and booleaned a pipe at the back of the flashdrive for more wire support. The frame where the initials are was split, moved down a couple of units, then blended for an inset surface.

I went with a couple different color swaps because I thought this project could use it. But it would all be different glossy plastics contrasted with softer rubbers. The Cord is a glossy black rubber, and the USB component is a chrome material for all.
