Storm Sampson: Week 4 Detergent

My main inspiration for this design was to make something that pours out cleanly. Typically when I'm doing laundry I spill the detergent everywhere because the nozzle is so wide and is just begging to be spilled. Therefor I created a curved thin nozzle similar to a funnel shape. I called my detergent 'TTYL' which is an acronym for saying goodbye, so say goodbye to your stains with TTYL!

Creating the bottle was nice, and I felt like I had a lot of freedom with the design. I used curves and a sweep two to get the general body shape. I then projected curves around the bottle to give it design and fun shape. I extruded a solid through the middle to create the handle and then fillet the edges.

While in keyshot I used spring colors that are bright and give a clean feeling. The handle is black and clear which is a nice contrast between the bright colors and allows you to see how much detergent you have left.
