Christian de Lavalette: Week 2 flash light

 Ghosted

For this project we had to build a flash light with dimension constraints which forced me to think before I acted. this forced me to come up with a basic plan to the creation of this object. so when it came to to design it on the computer i wasn't sure what i was going to do, so i created a sleeve that was half the size of the dimension, which would allow me to add and subtract and stay in the dimensions.

For the construction and commands I used like revolve where handy to the construction. the most important commands that i used to get this exterior shape are the project to get the basic line around and followed by the 'pipe' and the array polar.  when it came to the BooleanDifference it was harder because i had to do each one separately. and for the top part i used a pipe command with and array polar.

when I transferred it in to KeyShot I tried different materials and colors on the object with different lightings. I think that using the colored aluminum on the object is what really helps with my reflections.
