For my concept with my flashlight I wanted to create a flashlight that could be used in multiple different scenarios.  I decided to create a self-defense flashlight that doubles as brass knuckles.  I decided to do this because flashlights are commonly used at night and crime peaks at this time.  The flashlight will always be in your hand and easily deployed for self defense.
For my modeling technique I started with a sphere.  I took this sphere and added on a larger than created the ring with a Taurus shape.  I split the Taurus shape so it would fit a finger then used Boolean Difference with another Taurus and a few more cylinders to give the rings their appearance.  I also decided to Fillet all of the edges so they are all nice and smooth.
For the materials I used brass to recreate the brass knuckles and then added a smooth black to give it a nice polished finish.
