My design intent was to create something futuristic and shiny. My inspiration came from the illustrations of famous futuristic artist named Robert McCall.
To model this object I used a lot of lofting and rail sweeping. Along with some polar
arrays and extruding with filets.
I wanted my material choice to be attractive and shiny. So I chose sapphire as the main material for the top part and marble and plastics for the base.
