Brett LaCour: Week 2 Flashlight

I chose to redesign a previous flashlight I has modeled, except this time with a lot cleaner modeling.  My inspiration for the design came from research on tactical flashlights.  Most tactical flashlights are large in size but for my design I wanted to execute a smaller more ergonomic shape that would feel comfortable in the users hand.

Most of the modeling techniques I used were boolean difference commands to create the shaft of the light with the rounded rivets.  I revolved the head of the light from a curve.  I wanted to add a clip for versatility for the user so I used a sweep 2 command to create the shape then blended the surface to the shaft.
For materials I chose titanium because its sort of the ultimate material; durable and lightweight.  I also chose three different colors black, dark grey, and dark green.  The colors along with the material choice really create the sleek tactical look I was trying to achieve.
