Brian Kuo Week 2 Duck

My concept for this project was to make a bag out of a duck. I thought this would be either a good gag gift that is also applicable for use every day.

I followed the steps in the tutorial, then used the curve tool to draw half the handle, mirrored it, and used the pipe tool on it. For the body, copied the body, scaled it down, moved it, then used the boolean difference tool on it.

The materials I chose were cloth for the body and head parts, leather for the handle, bill, and part of the eye, and a touch of silk to make the inside of the eye. The cloth would make the bag foldable, and the leather of the handle would give it some structural strength. The bag's colors were chosen so it would not stand out too much when going out.
