Mia Riefkohl Week2 Flashlight

I wanted to create a flashlight I would want to buy. When I think of a flashlight, I think of something heavy, bulky and manly. My mom always makes me keep a flashlight in my room and every time I travel. This flashlight is meant for girls like me that want to be carrying something delicate and feminine.
First I started drawing half of  the contour line of the flashlight and then used the revolve tool. That saved me a lot of time in terms of getting the basic body of the flashlight. Then I focused on the ornaments I intended to give my flashlight. I used many spheres and array polar command. My intention was to give a simple ornamentation.
When it came down to choosing a material, I was really focused in simplicity and elegance to maintain the feminine touch. I chose the "clear white shiny" to make it completely white because I understand this gives it a pleasing and graceful appearance.
