Yi Wang: Week 3 Mouse Design

This is my mouse design. I love video games so this time I decide to design a mouse for gaming.
I borrowed a lot of ideas from some gaming mouses and finally I did this design. I love how designers make this kind of mouses look very cool, so when we first look at them we will already know they are for games. In this case, I used the classic way to make the outside looking of this mouse. I used straight lines and angles for the front part of the mouse, so it can make the mouse look solid and powerful. I used curving form for the back and the sides, so it can be very comfortable when people holding it. I also tried to fig out how to design the inside. I did some research and I realized if I add some lights in there can make it even cooler. So I put two lights in the front and one big light inside......

I spent three days on this project, so I used almost everything I know to create it. Because most of the shapes are very special, so I have to draw a lot of lines and use "sweep2", "loft" and "Blend" a lot. I also used a lot of techniques from the "Osnap", because my friend told me that a good control of the size is very important. So I used "Grid Snap" and "Osnap" a lot when I was doing the Rhino.

I used the best material for this mouse, so it not only looks good, but also has a very good touch. I used metal for the bottom and parts of the inside. And I also used plastic and wood iron for this product.
