Nathan Beck: Week#4 Duck

 I love plants and think that they should surround us in every environment we are in. I love to create different types of planters because they are a piece of art that gets to contain something that brings life. Havin the duck as our inspiration for this project, I decided to make a duck planter.

I used organic modeling for this duck. I took a sphere and warped it into the duck's body. I also used the blend surfaces tool to connect the head and body. I boolean differenced the hole where the pot would be placed.

I decided to go with glass because I enjoyed the light it refracted. This planter presumably being placed by a window, the colored glass would shine beautifully. Also, glass is easy to wipe off or rinse off, making clean a breeze.
