kristin leverette week 6 bubble butt ring

My inspirations and influences for my ring was a simple custom made graduation ring. Graduation rings come in all sizes and can be made specifically according to gender. I wanted to created a  ring men and women would feel comfortable wearing.

For my techniques to create the ring I started with  circle ( dimensions are according to my ring size) and I also used the conic command to create the front and back view of the ring. To create the surfaces  I used the command sweep 2. Last, I used the sphere to created the material on top of the ring.
 

For Materials I chose metallic pink paint for the rim of the ring and black squa... for the metal balls. I played around with the lighting in keyshot for the purpose of allowing the ring to be more of a focus point. I considered a brighter lightening technique but that ended up with a very negative out come.
