Lydia Batchelder: Week 5 Sunglasses

BIONICLERS
The Bioniclers started out modestly but quickly they evolved into some pretty bad to the bone shades that every Bionicle Loving kid would love. See into a whole new bad-ass world you never dreamed of with BIONICLERS. With light up LED's you can confidently see your way through a dark room who's floor is riddled with the spikiest of Legos. The distorted glass cut into sassy eyebrow raised shapes will stun and disorient you and your enemies with a "way too cool" look that is all you.
What a learning Crv2View I had during this modeling process. This was the first model where I could really use abuse all of the nifty modeling tools I've learned this quarter. Though I'm no pro, it felt as though I had all of the answers to Rhino's persistent problems and questions. I used tools like Picture Frame, Offset Surfaces, and Crv2View to bring this design from a simple drawing into a really neat model.
The materials chosen were to mimic those used in Lego's own toys: Matte, Clear, and Textured Plastic. I only strayed away from plastics on the head band which is a strong cloth band. To really make these glasses exciting despite their muted tones contrasting colors were chosen. Red violet and the Yellow Green create beautiful dichotomous energy that is regal and exciting.
