My inspiration for "trying to" create these glasses were from the drawings provided by Jessica Demasis. In the beginning I had a really difficult time creating shapes and lines according to the command picture frame. After so many hours of trying to create the exact image I started from and organic shape.
The materials I used are all soft black materials along with plastic. I considered what athletic glasses are made of and tried to apply a similar material. The band for glasses is also a soft black material, I first tried plastic but the soft black appeared more realistic.
I first started out with an organic shape and then extruded the line, I also capped the frame of the glasses. For the band I used an line then extrude curve "ribbon" to give the band more height, I also extruded the curve "straight". For the side I Boolean difference using the sphere for the cut out, I also used the cylinder to create the hook.
