These are my 5 concept ideas for the lamp project. I wanted to go with something that was simple, but interesting. I used basic shapes to construct my panels. I also took consideration on how many pieces it would take to fit into a one sheet of plywood board, so I tried to construct everything that wouldn't use two plywood boards.
I created shapes and used booleandiff to combine all shapes together. I copied the outer shape and pasted a smaller version of the outer shape for the inside so it would have space for the inner structure of the lamp. I then used section to slice all pieces together and hid the first structure so it wouldn't get in the way. Lastly I used planar curves under the surface tab to create a solid layer and combined them all together (excluding the basic structure)
