Peyman Pirzadeh-Week 1- Castle Project

This is basically the first assignment of this quarter. In this project we supposed to design and model a castle. I tried to use variety of shapes to make the model more interesting. I also tried to model each individual part related to each other so the viewer can easily figure it out that the all parts are together.
Since this was my first time using Rhino and it's essential having the knowledge of modeling for industrial designers, I tried to use as many as techniques that we were thought so can be able to work with all of them when it's needed. As instances I can mention using techniques such as: ExtrudeCrv, BooleanDifference, CurveBoolean, Offset, Copy, Rotate, Arraypolar and ArrayLinear.
Also about the materials, we were not required to use any materials for this project so I tried to keep the model as simple as I could and I just applied perforated leather to the whole model.
Below you can see the Ghosted image with the layer painted black, the bird's eye view and a pedestrian view of the model.

  1. your ghosted image is not linked properly. you may want to reload it. Otherwise the work is excellent. I would do a keyshot of the establishing/brid's eye view without the desert backdrop. I think it detracts from your composition. Just a thought, but as I said the work is excellent!!
