Week 10- kite

For my kite I wanted to build the dutton delta kite because of it's speed. When I was picking materials I choose a reflective Mylar film because it was lightweight, shiny, and I already had it. 

For assembly I printed the plans on the plotter an cut the pieces to size, then used gorilla tape to seal everything. Finally I put yoda in the "cockpit" to make it feel like a UFO a tiny bit more. 

When it came time to fly the kite started to run out and the line snagged causing the kite to crash to the ground snapping the spreader bar.
