Kristin Leverette Week:6 Ring

For my ring design I decided to follow an adorable cupcake layout. My inspiration came from an bakery setting with adorable cupcakes ans sugary treats. I chose the cupcake for a ring because I adore the actual shape of the cupcake, It's very whimsy and user friendly.
To execute my design I first started with a bit map tracing a cupcake printable, I then extruded the line for thickness.  I used points on for the desired curves to for a realistic cupcakes. Last, I capped the extrusion to make a closed surface.
For my materials I wanted a soft color pallet so I used Gold and bronze. I wanted something shinny and realistic at the same time. I didnt want to make the background too dark in key shot because I wanted the materials to reflect off the background.
