Kristin Leverette Week: 9 Music Soul chair

My concept for this project I chose the music symbol for the structure of my chair. I was inspired particularly by soul, jazz and funk music. Music is apart of my life and I wanted to design something with a deep connection.
The techniques for my design I used the bitmap and the extruded the lines. For the legs of the tool I used a line and the sweep 1 command creating the y shaped design.  I also used the command    Boolean difference for my music symbol.
For my materials I used a deep dark wood and chrome for the seat. I chose to make the legs of the chair wood also. I also tried to create another lighting I had not used before on other past projects .
