Ryan Gillam: Week 10 Dragon Kite

Jessica had the idea to design I dragon kite.  I worked on the kite construction while she drew the outline and cut the dragon out of a red plastic tablecloth.  For the body of the kite we used a thin clear plastic drop cloth covered in box tape to add security.  I painted the details of the dragon with acrylic gouche diluted with water and adhered the dragon to the drop cloth wood glue helped out by extra box tape.  She seemed like would fly ok but unfortunately the gromit was torn from the kite and she was claim  by the mighty Atlantic.
