I wanted to create a fun ring, that could be worn by any age group. If you make the ring in stainless steel, it is more suited for adults, and  teenagers, but if you make the ring in cool colored plastic, the ring can still be suitable for teenagers, but kids can wear it too. The phrase " Danger Zone" comes from an animated series called "Archer". It is a really catchy phrase and I just love saying it. I used the shows font to recreate the catch phrase, to tie it more the the show itself and make it a lot more obvious.

To create my ring, first I drew out every single letter and extruded them to give them some depth. Then I measured my finger and drew out the inside of the ring and then i added another circle to create the outer wall of the ring. I extruded the outer circle into a solid shape and the extruded the inner circle and made it go all the way through the first extrusion. I then took the inner extrusion and Boolean differenced it out of the outer shape. This created the ring shape. Then I filleted the rings edges to make it smooth. And last but not least, I took the letters i had drawn and extruded earlier and used the "flowalongsurface" tool and made the text wrap around the ring.

For the materials I chose to go with stainless steel to give it a clean cut look and to show off the depth of the letters. I did two different tones of steel just too add a little bit of contrast. I could also make the ring out of plastic for a more fun colorful feel to it, but I stainless steel is just a lot more long lasting and durable.
