Billy Nisbet Lamp

With the material's inherent planar surfaces, I wanted to created a form that was sharp and planar as well. The mass was produced by taking one smaller triangle, and one larger triangle and rotating the two to make interesting shapes.

To create the form I used a loft after i found the arrangement I liked with the triangles. I sectioned and filled planar holes to create the individual cutouts. To notch, I used the rhino script provided, and then used the intersections to pipe the notches where there were errors.

The materials I chose for this digital model were dark wood and light oak, the shade connector is aluminum, and the bulb is glass. The Lasercut model will use mdf.
