Elee Holtermann Week 7: Diamond Lamp

My lamp is called the Diamond Lamp because of its shape. I thought that this tapered shape would make for an interesting lighting effect. This lamp is designed to be packed flat and inexpensive so that it can be mass produced and sold to stores like Home Depot and Wal-Mart.
For this lamp I used tools like Contour and Section to get the sections cut out from my original shape. I then used planar curves to make the curve into a solid section and extruded that to give it thickness. For laser cutting I used the Massive Unroll so that my lamp sections would flatten onto the dimensions that are needed.
