Melissa Shuford Fork Ring

For this project I was inspired by the fork. I love to cook and thought it would be cute to have a ring that would go with my passion. My inspiration was taken from here as well.

To create the fork ring I created the line work on a flat plane and then made it into a surface. I then extruded the ring and created the details using pipes and ovals and truncated pyramids. I made sure each piece was filleted before then doing a booleanunion with the fork and the pipes as well as the oval detail at the end. I booleandifferenced the jewels. After I had all the designs perfected and all the fillets fixed, I then made a circle the proper size before flowing it along the surface an viola.

Fot the materials I chose an aluminum metal for the body and I put the roughness to a level I liked. For the small details I chose a metal and colored the metal to a rose gold color and changed some settings to get the desired look. Lastly for the jewels I chose a glass and made it blue before changing the settings to get the proper look and shine to it.

If I was to fix one thing about the final product I would make it slightly thicker in width and height and a little bigger circumference to allow it to be worn on a different finger than my ring finger.
