Christian Edwards: Week 7 Lamp

My lamp was inspired by an Ikea feel.  I wanted this lamp to look sophisticated yet very simple to assemble.  This lamp is 1 foot tall and can give anybody some mood lighting.  It can also be used as a desk lamp.

To create this lamp I used a few different commands in the 3D software Rhino.  I used array polar, extrude, line, boolean difference, make2d, etc.  My experience with using commands has significantly improved.

The materials I used were a soft wood, and a light.  These bring the lamp together and make it look the way I wanted.  Ikea could sell this lamp and it would go along well with the rest of the product line.
