Peyman Pirzadeh_ Lamp Project

                                          

For this project I was inspired by the simple lamp shape itself. Since we're going to put an actual lamp inside I thought it would be cool.

The new technique that I used is Section, the others are pretty much the one that we used to work. I used PictureFram to put a lamp picture in the background so I would get out its shape. I used Revolve to make the whole lamp, then used Section to make its parts and finally PlanarCurves to planer the curves. After taking out the sections I used  CutMyOwnRibs to cut ribs on each section. For the lase cut also I used BetterMassiveUnroll to unroll the sections and make them 2D. Finally used Magenta for outer lines, Blue for inner lines and Red for texts.

For the material I just used wood for both horizontal and vertical sections and also used AreLight 100W for the light inside.
