My model was inspired by the company that makes penny boards and there idea that you can customize your skateboard when I comes to the color for every detail of it, like the color of the wheels to the color of the bolts that keep it together. I like the penny Board's simplicity and bright color and that's what i wanted to show in my glasses design. They have a very open design to let your face breath, preventing a sweaty face.

The tools I used to create my sun glasses was the curve tool, to draw out the frame, the lenses and the legs of the sunglasses. Then I used the extrusion tool to create thinness in these three areas. I also used the extrusion tool along with the Boolean difference tool to create the cut out in the front of the glasses. Last but not least I used the oval tool to create the plant design on the front of the glasses and the legs of the glasses. for the plant design on the frame, i extruded the shape in and used the Boolean difference tool and for the plant design on the side of the legs, i extruded the design outward.

For the materials, I wanted something that made them loos simple and at the same time make them very inexpensive to make, to sell them for cheaper, since my desired market is sports fanatics, like skateboarders or surfers, which would loose them or drop them all the time.Because of this I used hard plastic for the legs and the frame and an opac glass for the lenses.
