Zachary Botwick: Week 2 Duck

This is my duck product. I decided to create “Duck Binoculars, because it was something that I had not seen among previous entries. I thought it would be an interesting project.

I used mostly solids, rebuilding them and editing them by points to create the organic shapes in my model. I used the Fillet command to round the edges, Boolean Union to join the polysurfaces, Boolean difference, and mirror command.

For my materials, I used a leather for the body and head, a glass for the binocular lens, and a metal for the two body scopes. The neck is made from a green cloth. I used earthy tones because the duck is supposed to blend into the environment when in use.
