For this design I wanted to make a hammer more then just a hammer. So thinking of ways I could complete my task I began sketching. After awhile I came up with this axe hammer combo.
While making my model I realized my handle I had drawn out was very difficult so I made this new one and actually think it might be better. The inside of the handle is cut out to promote flexing when swinging and give it a very future feeling to it.
While rendering I wanted to keep it simple so I went with a steel head and black handle and the aluminum axe head. given the chance to do this project again I would have put my logo on the square side and fool around with the handle a little more.
