A hammer has two ends, one at the
front we use it to bang and one at the back we use to hold. It is one of the earliest
tool that we human ever design, so why not give it a little more something so
we could use it for more purpose. In my deign I combine the hammer with the
wrench alone with the special end that wrench has to helps use screw things up.
I started with the wrench head
first. I made a cylinder then I cut it down with hexagon, and to make it more
useful I also draw a curve to ExtrudeCrv it so it has some characteristic of
the hammer. Then I made hammer head and Boolean union it with the wrench head. After
that I made a stick and shape the way I want it to look by using Boolean different
and fillet edge. In the end I tried to
fillet edge every surface and it was difficult. I have to find the right size
of the curve and make sure there is not naked edges so I don’t have to start
all over again.
With rendering I choose the primary
colors Paint - gloss cadmium yellow, Cherry Bomb_745525 and Anodized blue to create
a contrast to the viewers and try to make them look as stand out as possible.
