Brian Kuo Week 2 Flashlight

For my concept, I did not have anything specific I wanted to do, but I did know that I wanted something less angular and more rounded. This is mostly reflected in the shapes I chose to use.

I used torii and tubes surrounding the cylinder for decoration. I also filleted my edges, most evident on the bottom edge. Lastly, I used ellipses to aesthetically connect the tube to the shade part of the flashlight.

I chose black plastic for the material because this flashlight will eventually be 3D printed. I originally wanted to go for white plastic, but some details were washed out when I tried to render it in Keyshot, so I settled for the black plastic instead.
