Zachary Botwick: Week 2 Flashlight

For my project I wanted to keep its overall shape from looking generic. I made an interesting design which I have never seen before. I wanted to create bold sections with simple but effective details.

I used mainly the Revolve command and Array Polar Command for the base of the flashlight. I used boolean difference to make some of the exterior details. To make the edges visually appealing I used the fillet tool with varying radii.

For materials, I used mahogany for the body of the flashlight. I used white fiberglass in joining areas. The 7 cylinders are colored with a shiny silver. The indentions on the back side as well as the indentions on the front half are colored with this same silver. I used these materials because I liked how the wood and metals worked together. It is simple but sophisticated.
