Portrayed above are three images of a USB flash drive built in Rhino. Fallowing the tutorial I came out with a very generic body for a USB drive. To give it a twist, I used an inspiration from the super hero Flash to change the colors the way I did in Keyshot.
The building of this USB improved my skills in Rhino. I explored command I hadn't yet like the OFFSET command. It was crucial in order to get the red notches that you see on the sides of the device.
In Keyshot I experimented with different materials, colors, and lighting techniques. The main body is a rough black plastic accompanied by chrome outlining and red accents. Although I didn't necessarily explore different forms this week, this was a productive learning curve that I'm satisfied with.
